Marketing Assistant – Altron, Johannesburg Gauteng
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
- Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
- Coordinate the planning, development and implementation of a broad range of marketing materials and activities
- Handle the effective distribution and stock control of marketing collaterals and materials
- Work closely with all stakeholders to develop marketing and product literature (brochures, point-of-sale, presentations, etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
- Communicate and handle issues relating to brand application and general marketing related enquiries
- Assist marketing and sales team in the implementation of promotional events and traditional campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
- Provide market research, consumer trends, competitive analyses (including campaigns and activities)
- Facilitate the relationship between the marketing department, sales department and external partners such as marketing and advertising agencies
- Communicate directly with internal clients and encourage trusting relationships
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- BCom/BADegree in Marketing, Communication or Advertising
Experience
- At least 3 years marketing experience in a medium to large corporate environment
- Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), marketing computer software and online applications
