Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team as a PC Technician.
Responsibilities :
- Support the day-to-day operations end user client environment
- Work on planned projects hardware and/or software Laptop software and hardware installation, configuration, repair and ongoing support
- Inventory control
- VPN software and hardware installation, configuration and ongoing support
- Problem investigation
- Problem diagnosis
- Solution implementation
- Communication with users throughout the process
- Escalation of problems where appropriate
- Setup of user accounts
- Proactive support
- Manage the backup schedules and daily tapes
- Manage the office printers
- Decommission hardware and obsolete equipment
- Assist users with daily minor support issues
- Install new computers
- Any other IT support related task allocated by the IT manager
Candidate Criteria:
- IT Graduate
Relevant IT qualification
- 3-5 years IT experience
Own, reliable vehicle (will receive a petrol and car allowance)
Package:
R10000 with benefits and travel/car allowance (to be discussed at Interview)
