The main purpose of the Job is to answer the switchboard in a professional manner in accordance with company customer service standards.

The role also includes relieving the cashiers and providing exceptional customer service at the point of sale, thereby maximizing selling opportunities and minimizing risk to the business. The main responsibilities are

• Greeting Customers
• Ringing up Purchases
• Accepting Payments
• Issuing accurate Receipts
• Balancing the Till
• Answering all incoming calls
• Transferring / redirecting calls to the correct department
• Taking accurate messages and conveying this articulately
• Handling Customer queries
• Assisting with General Administration

Required Minimum Education: Grade 12

Required Minimum Experience: 2-3 years in similar role
