We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker Welder.The role will comprise of maintenance, repairs and fabrication work on various equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol screen
- Ability to interpret Engineering drawings
- High fabrication abilities
- A very strong approach to safety
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Boilermaker Welder trade certificate
- Driver’s Licence
- Must have at least 2 – 3 years experience post trade test
- Medically fit for heights and confined spaces
- Must have basic MS Package computer skills and SAP is an advantage
Qualification
- Have at least N3
- Have a history of providing quality workmanship first time right, as efficiently and effectively as possible
- Are proficient in ARC, MIG and stainless steel TIG welding
- Are skilled in drawing, reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and sketches
- Can demonstrate your ability to calculate exact dimensions to be welded
- Have hands on experience in effective use of power and hand tools
- Can maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Are a mature energetic person of sober habits
- Have the personality attributes and technical skills typically associated with successful Boilermakers working in teams in a factory environment.
- Are hard working & self-motivated
- Have good communication skills
- Are prepared to do standby and work overtime when required
